Orthopaedics is the study of bone and diseases related to bone deterioration. Orthopaedic surgeons and specialists use both surgical and nonsurgical techniques to treat musculoskeletal traumas, spine diseases and injuries, degenerative diseases, bone infections, sports injuries, tumours, and congenital disorders.

The most common conditions in orthopaedics are arthritis and Rheumatologic disorders that cause the bones to become brittle or twisted. These are severe problems which can cause extreme trouble in performing daily activities.
